What is Spam Filtering?

Spam filtering is a method in which you can reduce the amount of unwanted emails you receive into your inbox. Filtering of your email can happen on a number of levels, however no method is 100% accurate.  At times some legitimate emails can be labeled as spam, while the opposite is also possible that some unsolicted emails can make it through the filters.

HardDriveHotel offers its own version of a quarantine system that filters your email based on its spam score.  This spam score has a number of factors including reputation of the sender, email verbiage, and the users own settings.  This service is available for free for our shared hosting clients.
